[note I do not work for anyone involved with travel in any country]
"... finally understanding that Ryanair are out to rip them off and are choosing to stay away?" I doubt it. I suggest that recession is biting deep and will go deeper still.

FR will always have customers because each year, a new bunch of youngster come of age to travel independently with no money and will use them. Many older folks will see the company for what it offers and use them accordingly. Go bust? Not till hell freezes over.

Thanks for posting this item about Mick whinging again. This item re-iterates what I said in my last post regarding the reasons passenger numbers are dropping off. And all I want to do is laugh out loud at Ryanair's stupidity!! "Please go bust, please go bust, please go bust, please go bust!! Come on everyone, if we think about it often enough, maybe and hopefully, us ripped off, fed up passengers and the poor exploited (contract) staff can be released from the nightmare that is Ruinair (to quote Paul Kilduffs book).
